At one point, they asked, "How many soldiers did the British send to America in 1776?" Ford, unbothered, admitted he had no idea. The room laughed. But then he fired back with a response that shut everyone up:

"I can summon men who can answer any question I desire… Why should I clutter my mind with general knowledge when I have men around me who can supply any knowledge I require?"
